VPSitex as it is recognised now, was established when Ian Quinlan, with the help of Henderson Capital, took over Vacant Property Security Limited in 2003 to form VPS Holdings Ltd.
After their first takeover, VPS Holdings then acquired the following successful businesses in the steel security sector:
In March 2010, TDR Capital, a UK-based private equity firm bought a controlling stake in the VPS Group. Supporting this change, a new management team reviewed and evaluated the Group’s activities in each of its operating countries to ensure we were offering a complete range of world-class vacant property services around the globe.
Today, the VPS Group is headquarters in the UK, while serving operations across Europe and the USA through a number of local offices and depots.
